Dr. Chelsea Sherrington is a clinical and health psychologist with experience in prenatal and postpartum mental health, support around infertility and fertility treatment, and grief and bereavement following pregnancy loss and infant death. She also has a special interest in the intersection of physical and mental health, and works with patients and caregivers impacted by a range of medical concerns including chronic pain, bowel and pelvic disease, cancer, HIV, and life threatening illness. She also works more generally with people impacted by depression, anxiety, relationship stress, and major life transitions.
Dr. Sherrington is a warm, dynamic, and engaging therapist who uses an integrative approach which draws on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), existential, and interpersonally based approaches. She works with adults, couples, and adolescents, and also provides clinical supervision to psychologists seeking licensure in Ontario.
Dr. Sherrington earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology, with a concentration in Primary Care Psychology. She is a registered psychologist in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
