Doula Speed Dating is an opportunity for you to meet 8 registered doulas in one evening and hopefully meet your doula match! There is absolutely no pressure to book. The Mindful Parenting Workshop is a half-day workshop focusing on using mindfulness techniques to increase parenting confidence, reduce stress and nurture positive parent-child relations. Join us as we discuss how to be more present for your children and feel more confident as a parent.

Understanding your own parenting style
Identifying the link between parents’ own emotional stress and their child’s displays of stress
Learning to reduce emotional stress through mindfulness exercise techniques
Using mindfulness to help foster nurturing positive relationship with children and others

The making of a secure attachment.
Join Dr Tanya Cotler with your baby (ages 0-1) for this interactive workshop where babies and their parents are encouraged to enjoy one another in the process of learning and creating a secure attachment relationship.
Using mindfulness techniques of attention, reflection and description in combination with pleasure and play, parents will experience the true building blocks to secure attachment. Parents will be empowered to realize that
a secure relationship rooted in the eb and flow of communication, awareness, attunement and responsiveness lies beautifully in their grasp.
Individual rate: $85
Couple rate: $150
This is a weekly ongoing therapy group every Wednesday beginning July 3. Minimal commitment of 6 weeks. Open to new participants at the end of every cycle of a slot opens up. Members welcome to continue in the group beyond the 6 weeks.
What is it all about?
This group is a place for moms to come with baby in tow and talk about the journey into motherhood as well as the frequent isolation and sense of disconnection from one’s prior self. It is a safe place to connect to other new moms while learning to re-connect to one’s prior self. It is a place to be real about motherhood. To come with spit up in your hair, and pjs if you need to.
Each week we will have a topic of discussion such as: parent-child attachment, infant sleep, breast or bottle feeding and solid food, social and romantic relationships, identity shifts, work/life balance, self care as well as other gems. Every group will begin with a half hour didactic component where we’ll learn the nuts and bolts about the week’s topic, followed by an open discussion facilitated by our perinatal and maternal mental health psychologist, Dr Tanya Cotler.
Can I bring baby?
Of course!! This group is specifically designed for you and your baby. Think typical mom/baby music class or play class but this one is facilitated by a mindful parenting and attachment psychologist who specializes in both adult work as a maternal mental health psychologist, as well as is a child psychologist with a focus on the 0-3 years (Dr Tanya Cotler).
Cost: 45$/session or $270/6 weeks
