Ligaya Esguerra is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2009. She has since worked in multidisciplinary environments, such as Chiropractic and Physiotherapy clinics as well as fertility and pre-natal care clinics.
She performs deep tissue massage for both therapeutic and relaxation purposes, utilizing a variety of techniques from acupressure to advanced myofascial work to help alleviate her clients’ discomfort. She believes massage can be a valuable tool for treating injuries, coping with occupational stresses and chronic pain, as well increasing overall relaxation.
Ligaya also treats and supports women in all stages of pregnancy and post-partum. Being a mother herself has given her a deeper insight into the stresses that women’s bodies endure. She believes strongly that the ‘nurturing’ mother needs to be nurtured herself. She is also interested in expanding into more infant and pediatric massage and is working on her certification in pediatric massage.
