Luisa Kleiner RMT

Luisa is a lifelong student of health and wellness. Her curiosity and passion for understanding and healing the mind and body propelled her to start a career as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). After her initial piano and concertmaster training in Moscow, Luisa completed her massage therapy degree. She also finished the Wellspring College of Holistic Health in 2007, obtaining her Ontario RMT license and then went on to receive additional formal training in Acupuncture, TENS Therapy, and Therapeutic Ultrasound. In 2019, she completed afive year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is now writing a thesis on non-specific low back pain.

To complement her training, Luisa has taken numerous courses in advanced paediatrics, myofascial release, endocranial spasms, brain intestinal axis, concussions, women’s health dysfunctions, and palpation fields, among others.She has done extensive work with pregnant women, babies, and children, patients with gastro-intestinal, TMJ, chronic and acute problems. Luisa regularly attends scholarly symposiums and workshops concerning her work.

She excels at cranial sacral techniques, counterstrain, deep tissue, myofascial release, shiatsu, Swedishand Thai massage, lymphatic drainage.Luisa believes in finding the root of a dysfunction by treating the body as a whole, rather than simply the symptom. Each treatment is personalized, optimizes bodily function,and focuses on the end results.
